Neysun Rouhani is a highly sought after piano teacher in London. He holds a BMus (Hons) in Performance, a PGDip in Piano Pedagogy and a Masters in Piano Performance from Trinity College of Music.

Neysun started learning piano at an early age under the tutelage of his father, esteemed British-Iranian composer, Mehran Rouhani. Showing a lot of potential, he went on to study with professors Gagik Babayan and Raphael Minaskanian in Iran and Gerhard Geretschläger in Vienna.

His greatest influence came from his teacher and mentor Benjamin Kaplan in London. In addition to his training as a pianist, he had the privilege to participate in masterclasses with Menahem Pressler, Charles Rosen and Martino Tirimo.

His performing career has taken him around the world.  As a Soloist he has appeared with a number of orchestras such as Pazardjik Symphony Orchestra, Docklands Sinfonia, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, Sofia Soloists Chamber Orchestra and the Graz Chamber Orchestra and at the Oxford Piano Festival (where his performance was highly praised by the festival’s Founder, Marios Papadopolous). He has performed at the Graz Summer Music Festival as an orchestral conductor.

Neysun’s reputation as a teacher and 100% success rate preparing students for all grades and diploma levels for various boards, including ABRSM and TRINITY, has led to him being invited to conduct masterclasses in the UK, the Middle East and the USA.

A notable solo recording includes the album ‘3 Piano Pieces’ featuring piano music composed by Mehran Rouhani (released on Hermes Records and available on Spotify).

In 2014 Neysun Produced and organised 'Epic Persia' at Cadogan Hall in London, which showcased the works of many composers from Persia and was a co-director of the 'Epic Persia Composition Competiton'.

Neysun has a particular passion for the music of his native country, Iran. He has a mission to promote Iranian composers and musicians to the rest of the world.

His students have gone on to win awards in international piano competitions including ‘Around the Globe Piano Music Festival’, ‘North London Festival’, ‘New British Talent International Competition’, ‘Piano Talents’.
