About the event
Born in 2005, Tuna Dyonmez began playing piano at the age of six. From 2018 to 2023, he studied at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music with Professor Yekaterina Lebedeva, and had private lessons with Professor Niel Immelman. He is currently in his third year at the Royal College of Music, where he continues his studies with Professor Leon McCawley.
Tuna has received numerous awards at international and national competitions. Most recently, he was awarded the Absolute First Prize in Spain at the 2025 Festival Internacional de Piano de Málaga (FIMPA). His other achievements include First Prize at the North London Festival of Music and the Watford Festival of Music, Second Prize at the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe Junior Intercollegiate Piano Competition and the Angela Bull Piano Competition, as well as Third Prize at the Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition.
