Cettina Musumarra

Originally from Sicily, Cettina began her musical journey at the age of six, drawn to the enchanting sounds of the piano. In 2007, she achieved her piano diploma with high honours, graduating summa cum laude from her hometown Conservatoire "V. Bellini."
Cettina has enjoyed success in various piano competitions, both nationally and internationally. Seeking guidance from distinguished maestros such as M. Marvulli, A. Delle Vigne, P. Gililov, S. Gadjiev, E. Pace, P. Rattalino, R. Risalti, P. N. Masi, B. Canino, G. Luisi, among others, she continually fueled her passion for musical excellence.
Her pursuit of knowledge led to the successful completion of her Interpretation and Composition Piano Master with top honours at the Institute of Superior Music Study "G. B. Pergolesi" in Ancona. In 2012, under the mentorship of M° Lorenzo Di Bella and studying with M°° Sergio Perticaroli and Stefano Fiuzzi, she achieved her Piano Master from the prestigious S. Cecilia Music Academy in Rome.
Cettina's artistry has graced stages across Europe and the USA, including renowned venues such as Steinway Hall in New York and the Wiener Saal in Salzburg. She has captivated audiences at Parco della Musica in Rome, Orsanmichele Church in Florence, Sala Puccini, Gaber Auditorium in Milan, Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast, and St. James's Church in London.
Education is a cornerstone of Cettina's journey. With years of experience as a music educator in secondary schools and as a proficient piano tutor, she holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Performance Teaching from Guildhall School. Her commitment to excellence in guiding aspiring musicians is further reflected in her thriving educational business, 'Hampstead Piano Lessons,' based in London. Through this venture, Cettina shares her musical knowledge and nurtures the potential of aspiring pianists.
