Miele Canto
Kirsty McLean is a recent graduate from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama graduating with distinction and hold a 1st class BMus from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She has been supported by Draper's Hall, Baroness de Turkheim Scholarship and was a Guildhall Scholar.
She is a 2018-20 Britten Pears Young Artist and on the Wigmore Hall's Young artist French Exchange set to make her Wigmore Hall debut in 2021.
Kirsty recently covered the role of Jano in Jenufa for The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden but unfortunately the shows were unable to go ahead, she had the immense pleasure of rehearsing the role on the Royal Opera House stage with full orchestra conducted by Vladimir Jurowski singing alongside Asmik Grigorian.
During the lockdown period Kirsty was privileged to play 1st Witch in the GSMD's Opera Schools' virtual production of Dido and Aeneas. In September she played Lucy in Menotti's The Telephone in a live stream production with Anand Productions. She has also greatly enjoyed carrying on working and performing with classical crossover quartet Ida most recently at Tonbridge Castle.

Philippa Mo - Violin
Philippa studied at the Royal Academy of Music and at the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing. Philippa now performs extensively as a chamber musician and has given performances and live broadcasts worldwide. Recent solo tours have taken her to Australia, Brazil and China.
Concerto appearances include a world premiere in Truro Cathedral as part of the innovative Online Orchestra Project with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires as well as John McCabe's Les Martinets Noirs in Sweden.
Philippa recently completed her series, Partita Fantasia Caprice at the gallery Sladers Yard in Dorset, exploring the complete solo works of JS Bach and Telemann in the context of earliest solo violin repertoire right through to contemporary works.
In 2018, Philippa founded the series Philippa Mo@Shortwave Nights and gave ten solo and duo concerts with international guest artists. She continued the series into early 2020 as Philippa Mo@The Curtain in Shoreditch.
Philippa has released critically acclaimed recordings for the NMC, Dutton and Nimbus labels. She was appointed Senior Lecture in Violin at Leeds College of Music and awarded Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) in 2015.
Philippa has just won the Future Classic Women Awards 2020 held by the Women’s Radio Station.
